Barb attended Duluth Business University graduating as a Legal Secretary-Transcriptionist in 1988.  She began her career as secretary to Newton S. Friedman and spent most of her career with the Reyelts & Bateman firm transitioning to a paralegal focusing on insurance defense.  Barb now helps support the Northland Trial Team work comp defense group, focusing on interventions and medical record retrieval.  Barb is married and has four children, two grandchildren, one dog, and one cat.  Outside of the office, Barb loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.  She loves to read and spend time outdoors in the country, where she resides.
